Dr. P. Yuvarajan completed his M.S Orthopaedics from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, one of the prestigious post graduate Colleges in India. He successfully underwent an expert training in the management of complex trauma, Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty. He persuaded his Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Fellowship in Adelaide, Australia and at Dr. John Charnley Hip Centre at Wigan, Wrightington, UK which is called a Mecca of Orthopaedics in UK.
Furthermore, he finished his joint replacement training with Pioneers in the hip and Knee replacement, (i.e.) Padma Bhushan, Dr. Chitranjan Ranawat at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. This happens to be one of the high volume Centres in USA. He had a wide exposure in managing the Primary Knee and Hip Replacement, Complex Knee and Hip Replacement, Partial Knee (Unicondylar Knee Replacement), Revision Surgeries, and Hip Preservation Surgery (Hip Arthroscopy). He has been involved with research activities related particularly to hip and knee problems. He also did an interesting research in the role of Hip Arthroscopy and undiagnosed hip pain pertaining mainly to the Indian population.
